This article discusses the way of thinking that "connects completely different things", which is important in "Artistic intelligence", by relying on Benjamin's concept of "kinship" or "nonsensuous similarity" as well as on the video work "Swarm" made by The McGloughlin Brothers in collaboration with Max Cooper. Understanding the way of thinking in art making and appreciation contributes to answering the question of what art is, and therefore, it leads to inquiry into art education.
