建築・都市領域では，建物や樹木のような個別の要素を越えた，我々の把握することがらの漠然とした全体性を指す「様相（modality）」という概念が提唱されている．様相に関する情報は，観光や都市設計などの様々な場面で有用となる．本研究では，情報処理技術を用いて街の様相記録（人が様相について記述したテキスト）を収集する試みとして，街歩きイベント「100人でつくる京都地図」を実施し，以下の点を明らかにした．（1）「街を歩いて感じたことを発信し，街の感じ方を地図上に表す」というイベントの趣旨から，全体の半数程度の様相記録は位置に関連した様相記録として収集できる可能性がある．（2）効率的に様相記録を収集するためには，実施時間の調整や，参加者を飽きさせないための工夫が必要となる．（3）街歩きを通した様相記録の収集では，市販のガイドブックに多数掲載される飲食や買い物に関する情報だけでなく，生活や娯楽などの情報も収集できる．A concept of "modality" has been proposed in architecture field. "Modality" means the totality of what we are aware of. Information about modality is useful in various situations, such as sightseeing, daily life, and city plan. In order to collect modality-records using information-processing technology, we held the event "100ninmap" that people walk about town. The results revealed three findings: (1) Almost half of collected modal records are location-dependent records. (2) In order to collect modality-records efficiently, the event takes a little ingenuity that keeps someone from being bored. (3) Through the event, we can collect not only information about shopping, eating and drinking but that about daily life, entertainments, and so on.
