九段会館ホール天井落下事故に関する調査報告(その1:天井の力学的挙動調査と落下過程の推定)

The paper reports the results of the cause investigations of the suspended ceiling collapse, in the auditorium of Kudan Kaikan, which occurred during the off the pacific of Tohoku earthquake on March 11<sup>th</sup>, 2011. In part1, the detection of the mechanical behavior and process of the collapse of the ceiling are described, while the structural identification and the historical documentations of it are reported in the part 2.
